Apologise for being off line for so long. Rule number one if you upgrade to Windows XP and new Microsoft package at the same time  if you expect it to work as you would like!!!  I will try and update all pages shortly.

Official opening  was carried out by Mrs Jean Godden, the new rector of Nairn Academy on 25th March. The museum was packed with guests and friends of Nairn Museum.

Dr Coombs , who was the instigator of last year's most successful celebration  and exhibition of the railway coming to Nairn  150 years ago was presented with "Life Friendship" to the Museum

Quite a lot of changes to the layout in many rooms this year and our new display units are proving quite a success and money well spent.

The "Friends of Nairn Museum" membership was up this year. This is a practical way that the public can help the museum and entitles members to unlimited access to the museum and the monthly exhibitions.  The cost is a minimum of only £12.00 per person per season - contact Fiona if you want to join. Why not combine this with a gift aid declaration.

Admission charges have had to go up slightly this year but for children prices have remained the same. The Family Ticket for a family of 4 is only £6.00. Our Museum is a hands on museum and children are well catered for.
